New Brunswick PNP

New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP)

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is an immigration pathway designed to address the specific economic and demographic needs of New Brunswick, a province known for its natural beauty, friendly communities, and growing economy. Administered by the Government of New Brunswick in partnership with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the NBPNP offers various streams and categories for skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and graduates seeking to settle and contribute to the province’s growth.

Key Streams of NBNP

Express Entry Labour Market Stream: Designed for skilled workers with experience in occupations in demand in New Brunswick. This stream allows candidates with a valid Express Entry profile to be nominated by the province for permanent residency.

  • Full-time Job or Job Offer: Firstly, it should fall under TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 occupations. Additionally, the employer must possess a valid Job Vacancy Assessment (JVA), particularly if the applicant does not already hold a valid work permit for the position. Moreover, the job must ensure a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week and last for at least one (1) year, with the potential for extension. Furthermore, the employment must be with an eligible employer in Newfoundland and Labrador, adhering to provincial employment standards and prevailing wage rates.
  • Qualifications and Skills: Applicants must possess the necessary qualifications, training, skills, and/or accreditation required for the job as per the National Occupational Classification (NOC) code.
  • Age: Applicants must be between 21 to 59 years old.
  • Immigration Status: Applicants residing in Canada must demonstrate valid immigration status with at least four (4) months remaining at the time of NLPNP application.

  • Use of Representatives: If using the services of a paid third-party representative, applicants must ensure that the representative is registered and permitted to represent them.
  • Skilled Workers with Employer Support: For skilled workers who have received a job offer from a New Brunswick employer. This stream helps employers fill labor shortages by hiring qualified workers from outside Canada.
