Program Basic Requirements
- Age: Applicants must be between 22 and 55 years old to be eligible for the program.
- Minimum Net Worth: A minimum net worth of $600,000 CAD is required, out of which $300,000 CAD must be liquid and readily available.
- Minimum Investment: The minimum investment requirement is $300,000 CAD for businesses located in Saskatoon or Regina, and $200,000 CAD for businesses in other parts of Saskatchewan.
- Ownership: Applicants must own at least 33.3% or greater of the business to qualify for the program.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in business management or an entrepreneurial role is required.
- Education: Applicants must have completed a two-year college or university program equivalent to the Canadian standard. An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is required to demonstrate equivalency.
- Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate a language proficiency level of CLB 5 or NCLC 5 in either English or French.
New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream
The New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream targets recent graduates from recognized New Brunswick post-secondary institutions who have innovative business ideas and a desire to launch their entrepreneurial ventures in the province. This program encourages the retention of talented graduates, providing them with an opportunity to contribute to the local economy and foster innovation and growth.
Program Basic Requirements
- Age: Applicants must be between 22 and 34 years old to be eligible for the program.
- Ownership: Applicants must own at least 33.3% or greater of the business to qualify.
- Minimum Business Revenue: The minimum business revenue requirement varies depending on the number of employees.
- Education: Applicants must have completed a program lasting 2 or more years at a New Brunswick College or University.
- Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate a language proficiency level of CLB 5 or NCLC 7 in either English or French.
- Job Creation: Applicants must create at least one job, which is mandatory for eligibility.
- Work Permit: Applicants must hold a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), which is mandatory for participation in the program.
